The smallest home allowable on property would have a footprint of 1200 square feet. Homes all have a full basement, so, for our smallest home plan, our price list reflects 1201 square feet finished up and 1201 square feet unfinished down. You have the option of finishing as much, or little, of the lower level as you require, whenever you require it. You are thereby able to make your living space whatever size you need very cost efficiently. We can finish lower level space for you, you can have it finished by another party, or you can finish it yourself.
Acorn Homes is a custom home builder, so you can choose any size for your home, above 1200 square feet. There are 14 home plans on our price list varying in size up to 3100 square feet (with lower level finished). However, we are happy to help you modify any standard plan to suit your needs, quote on a home plan you bring to us, or entertain a completely custom home plan for you.
A Single Family detached home will take around 6 to 7 months, a side-by-side Golf Villa will take around 7 to 8 months. That is the total time it takes from an agreement becoming unconditional. It includes designing your home with you, having drawings and blueprints drafted, applying for permit, and construction right through to taking occupancy. These times are approximate, they may vary depending on the contract changes you make and time of year for weather.
