Acorn Homes builds communities and homes not only in the Okanagan, but also in other areas. These construction services are provided either in partnership with other developers and construction companies or independently.
We recently completed the 53,000 square foot project, Happy Creek Estates, in Hinton, Alberta. The project was undertaken as an affordable housing development. It was designed to provide homes to 47 families in 5 buildings. Completed in a fast track time of 11 months, we were able to incorporate many energy saving techniques including Geothermal Heating, Drain Water Heat Recovery and Heat Recovery Ventilation.
