A kilometer of pristine waterfront greets guests at McKinley Beach. Granite sits just 70 yards away from the shoreline on a natural granite bluff that rises 100 feet above Okanagan Lake. The stunning view speaks for itself. Please watch this short video that we took.  

With this natural wonder to work with, an integral part of the design was the need for massive windows and huge decks. Towering walls of glass accent Gary Tomporowski architectural design as the structural position provides the idea that it is growing from the bedrock itself. 

Phase I included a common rooftop terrace with hot tub, sun deck, and washroom with shower. A patio complete with a swimming pool has been included with the completion of Granite’s Phase II.

The McKinley Beach development offers a 116-slip marina, of which Acorn has reserved 3 slips for the exclusive use of Granite at McKinley Beach residents. Acorn incorporated a non-profit society to operate its slips and manage a variety of water sports equipment and boats. The society will lease the slips from the marina owner, at below-market rates, allowing them to own, operate and maintain water sports equipment for our residents. This allows for the owners of Granite properties all the benefits of private ownership without the cost and commitment.

McKinley Beach is currently home to four kilometers of hiking and biking trails, with the anticipation of over 20 kilometers of developed trail. Currently it offers an innovative outdoor gym adjacent to the site. There are other amenities planned and under construction. These include, a “tot lot” style playground, playing field and pickle ball courts.
